THERMOSHIELD DESINFEKTANT is a very material-friendly and user-friendly preparation for chemothermal disinfection of flexible endoscopes at 55–60 °C. In combination with the enzymatic cleaner THERMOSHIELD FLEX, it offers an intelligent solution for gentle cleaning and disinfection in endoscope washers. The manual pre-cleaning of endoscopes can be carried out with concertedly PLURAZYME EXTRA or PERFEKTAN ENZYME. THERMOSHIELD DESINFEKTANT is particularly material friendly due to its glutaraldehyde-based composition. Since the content of glutaraldehyde is low it is user-friendly because the odour is considerably lower than that of many comparable preparations. With its comprehensive efficacy, THERMOSHIELD DESINFEKTANT meets the requirements of EN 15883-4 for the safe reprocessing of flexible endoscopes (see efficacy table).
