Born in Ankara in 1985, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özhan Çetindağ is a graduate of Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey’s most established hospitals. Today, he channels the advanced surgical experience he gained at the Ankara University Surgical Oncology clinic into the laser treatment of proctological diseases (hemorrhoids, fistula, pilonidal sinus) in İzmir Bayraklı.

He graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2010.
Specialization
He completed his surgical specialization in 2016 at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey's busiest and most established hospitals. The extensive case experience gained here shaped his approach to complex surgical problems.
Academic Progression
Between 2020 and 2022, he gained high-level surgical (cancer surgery) experience at the Ankara University Surgical Oncology clinic and received the title of Associate Professor by continuing his academic studies.

Patient-Centered Approach and Modern Solutions
After graduating from medical school in 2009, I started my residency at the Ege University General Surgery Clinic, which was my first choice in the first Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) I took. After completing my residency in 2015, I continued my duty at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital until 2018.
Between 2015 and 2018, I served at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital by performing surgeries in all fields of general surgery. In 2018, I returned to the clinic where I received my training, the Ege University General Surgery Clinic, as a Lecturer. Here, I performed Liver and Kidney transplants, Cancer surgery, Obesity surgery, and other general surgery operations, while also conducting academic studies in these fields.

Following his residency training, he served as a Specialist Doctor at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital between 2015-2018.
